HomeScreen on newer models include 12 icons (buttons) so that you can have your most used applications grouped as you like. With that function you also have more space for clear view of you Wallpaper.
To come faster to information you need you also have (again only in newer models (8900, 9000, 9500…)) TodayPlus Preview. The icons (calendar, messages, sms) are also user customizable so you dont have to use them for TodayPlus Preview if u don’t want to. When you scroll over this icons (select, not click) you’ll see your new messages, pending calendar events…

For Storm only the HomeScreen have 4 invisible buttons that when you click on theme the 3 dock icons (buttons) change as desired.

For 8320 only have 6 scroll HomeScreen icons and the rest of features are the same of all models.
